About the role

Over the past few years, we've started down this path by building out our marketplace- the first B2B marketplace that connects small and medium businesses with suppliers of equipment, machinery, bulk supplies- really anything they need for their business that can't be easily found on the likes of Amazon or EBay.

We’re extremely proud of the team and culture that we’ve built here at Kinnek.  We’ve always strived to not just provide a job for people, but an environment where every teammate feels like they can have an impact on the trajectory of the organization.  We want people to look back on their time at Kinnek and feel proud that they were a part of building something so special.

In order to guide our company through the next exciting phase of growth and lay the foundation for future success, we're looking for a Head of Talent who will be a champion of Kinnek’s mission and values and make it a place where amazing people do the best work of their career. This person would report directly to the founders of the company, and would own all aspects of human resources management at Kinnek including hiring, onboarding, development of talent, benefits administration, culture, and employer branding.  We value our people above all else; a strong talent function is of paramount importance to us, and we’re looking for someone who can be a close adviser to the founders on all issues related to people and organizational dynamics.

You will work closely with all teams and individuals across the company, develop and coordinate the execution of a variety of people-related programs, create and build learning tools, oversee end-to-end hiring, engagement and retention efforts, and also strategize on employer branding.  You will also build out and manage Kinnek’s Talent team. This would be in addition to managing the day-to-day HR operations of a rapidly growing start-up.  Most importantly, you will be the primary culture carrier at the company, and will be responsible for ensuring that Kinnek’s values remain strong as we scale.
