Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced full stack Angular/Rails developer to work on our digital platform at ivy.com. The ideal candidate needs to be able to hit the ground running in our fast-paced environment, and be comfortable to iterate quickly and push new code every day.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software and processes
• Write high quality, high-performing and well-tested code
• Turn design requirements and prototypes into working applications
• Design for and deploy to cloud infrastructure
• Analyze and improve efficiency, stability, scalability and security
• Work closely with the technology and design teams

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science 
• 5+ years of professional work experience deploying Rails applications
• 2+ years of professional work experience deploying AngularJS applications
• Proficiency with Ruby/Rails, JavaScript/AngularJS/jQuery/Node, HTML5, CSS/SASS, SQL/NoSQL, AWS/Heroku, Git, Rake/Gulp/Grunt
• Deep knowledge of OO, data modeling, design patterns, TDD/BDD, APIs, clean code and UX
• Data mining or machine learning experience highly favorable
• Analysis, profiling and optimization techniques
• Agile methodology
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation
• Highly motivated, adaptable and passionate learner with a strong work ethic
